October 17, 2019

After his success opening the Paris Opera Season singing “Puritani” from Bellini and his Rome debut and opening of the season of Santa Cecilia Orchestra with Berlioz Requiem, Javier Camarena returns to his country to celebrate his 15 years as a singer with concerts in Monterrey (Showcenter, October 17th), Guadalajara (Conjunto Santander de Artes Escénicas, October 24th) and the Closing Gala of the 47th Festival Cervantino (Guanajuato, October 27th). These concerts will be conducted by Iván López Reynoso; and the young, upcoming Mexican soprano Karen Gardeazabal joins them on stage.

On October 20th, he will sing his first recital at Dorothy Chandler Pavillion at Los Angeles, California, accompanied by Pianist Angel Rodriguez.

“L’ Elisir d’Amore,” the Great Gala 2019 accompanied by Angel Rodriguez and his debut as Gualtiero in Bellini’s “Il Pirata” in November and December, will be his upcoming engagements at Teatro Real de Madrid.

Finally, he will sing the opera that skyrocketed him to world fame, “La Cenerentola” from Rossini, alongside the Italian mezzo-soprano Cecilia Bartoli at Zurich Opera House.
