Javier Camarena wins International Opera Awards best male singer prize

Great news for all Javier Camarena fans. Our beloved tenor was honored by International Opera Awards as best male singer. He was selected among a field of distinguished finalists which included renowned artists such as Carlos Álvarez, Stephen Gould, René Pape, George Petean and Russell Thomas.

International Opera Awards was founded in 2012 as an annual celebration of excellence in opera around the world. Its aims are to raise the profile of opera as an art form, to recognize and reward success in opera, and to generate funds to provide bursaries for aspiring artists, including singers, directors, conductors, répétiteurs and accompanists.
