Javier Camarena returns to Bayerische Staatsoper for Rossini’s La cenerentola

This June, Javier Camarena stars in Rossini’s La cenerentola at the Bayerische Staatsoper. The Mexican tenor rose to international stardom after performing a rare encore of Don Ramiro’s aria “Si, ritrovarla io giuro,” at the Metropolitan Opera. Enjoy a clip from the 2014 performance here.

Javier sings three performances at the Munich theater under the baton of Giacomo Sagripanti alongside Tara Erraught in the title role, Sean Michael Plumb as Dandini, Lorenzo Regazzo as Don Magnifico, and Eri Nakamura and Rachael Wilson as the stepsisters Clorinda and Tisbe.

Javier takes the stage on June 3 with additional performances on June 7 and 10.
